All services are performed by qualified technicians using industry-standard equipment and procedures. We reserve the right to refuse service if we determine that the requested work is beyond our capabilities or poses safety concerns.
All service prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and are subject to change without prior notice. We provide detailed estimates before commencing any repair work exceeding a predetermined threshold. Additional charges may apply if unforeseen issues are discovered during the repair process, and we will contact you for approval before proceeding with such work.
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise arranged through our fleet management program. We accept various payment methods including cash, credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. A deposit may be required for extensive repairs or parts ordering.
We stand behind the quality of our work. All labor performed by BasicTips is warranted for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of service completion. Parts installed carry the manufacturer's warranty, which varies by component and manufacturer. Warranty coverage does not extend to damage caused by misuse, negligence, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
To make a warranty claim, you must present the original service invoice and contact us within the warranty period. We reserve the right to inspect the vehicle and determine the validity of warranty claims.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about their vehicle's condition, history, and any known issues. You must remove all personal belongings and valuables from your vehicle before service. BasicTips is not responsible for items left in vehicles during repair.
You agree to provide safe and legal access to your vehicle and to ensure that all necessary authorizations for repair work are obtained. For fleet customers, designated representatives must have proper authority to approve services and associated costs.
BasicTips shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to parts availability, supplier delays, extreme weather conditions, or force majeure events.
We collect and process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Customer information is used solely for service delivery, communication, and business operations. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.
BasicTips reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
